Airports
Three options for flying in. SFO has the most international flights; Oakland can be easier; Santa Rosa is closest to the farm.
| Airport | Drive to Sebastopol |
|---|---|
| San Francisco (SFO) | ~1.5 hours |
| Oakland (OAK) | ~1.5 hours |
| Santa Rosa / Sonoma County (STS) | ~30 minutes |
Getting to the farm
Sebastopol is rural — most guests will want a rental car for the weekend, especially if staying off-property or planning extra days. Ubers and Lyfts exist but are unreliable this far out from the city.
From overseas
For family flying in from Australia or Europe — please reach out and we’ll help map the best route in. SFO probably going to be the easiest international entry point.
Local tips
Friday and Saturday are mostly scheduled — Thursday afternoon and Sunday after brunch are the natural windows to explore. A few favorites within easy driving distance:
- Coast — Bodega Bay and Jenner, ~30 minutes west of the farm. Beach walks, oysters, the Sonoma Coast.
- Russian River wineries — ~20 minutes north. Pinots and chardonnays under the redwoods.
- Healdsburg — ~40 minutes northeast. Walkable town square, top-tier restaurants (SingleThread, Barndiva, Valette), and the entry point for Dry Creek and Alexander Valley wineries.
- Sonoma Valley wineries — ~50 minutes east. Sonoma Plaza for an easy lunch, then bigger-name wineries in the valley.
- Sebastopol — 15 minutes from the farm. The Barlow has restaurants, breweries, and tasting rooms in one walkable spot.
